    Workspace: GANT Lights

    Come and take a virtual tour inside the stunning GANT Lights studio in Berlin, Germany. This modern, minimalist studio is a showroom and open office in one, complete with a kitchen, bathroom, and storage. I love how neat and organized it looks, and that there’s plenty of natural light.  Those triangulated pendant lamps suspended across the white ceiling are the real eye-catchers to this industrial-inspired work space! Of course, that bicycle make the perfect wall accent. Stefan Gant is the founder and designer of this creative label that produce a collection of timeless, elegant lighting pieces made from concrete and gold.     Today, I would like to introduce you to Stefan Gant, founder and designer of  GANTlights, an independent brand of finely handcrafted lighting. Gant earned his Master’s degree in Architecture in Berlin, where he founded his product design label in 2012. His elegant, minimalist, architectural inspired lighting fixtures adorn many restaurants, cafés and business establishments in Germany, and beyond.   What’s the story behind the shop name? The story behind my label name is quite simple, My last name is Gant.     Dimitar Palanski has always had a knack for creating things even as a kid, disassembling his toys and using their components to re-create his very own customized versions of R2D2s and gadgets. In his second year in the University, he created a home-built lamp and from there, sparked the idea of opening the Etsy shop, now called Paladim Handmade.
